The Fruitless Self
Dear Friends, For the past few weeks, I’ve been trying to spend time each day pondering John 15:5. If you’re not familiar with that verse, it’s where Jesus says: “I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in Me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from Me you can do nothing.” The reason I’ve been daily pondering this verse is because “abiding” is something I have a hard time doing. Instead, my focus tends to be more on "doing” and "producing". And wh
