Pastor Daniel May
WHO WE ARE:
The Harvest Church on 8th began in the summer of 2008, with one simple goal: be a multi-ethnic community that does justice, loves mercy, and walks humbly with God. We are a small, community church, located in a high-poverty community. Our worship is casual, and all are welcome!
WHEN WE MEET:
Sunday mornings @ 11:00
(until Covid19 restrictions are lifted)
WHAT WE BELIEVE:
We believe in one God, who exists in three persons as
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe Jesus Christ was God's only Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of a virgin, and was fully God and man.
About the Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit came from God to convict of sin, to recreate,
and to empower all who believe in Jesus. Living in every believer,
the Holy Spirit is a helper, teacher, and guide.
About the Bible
We believe the Bible is the uniquely inspired Word of God that serves as
our full authority for faith and life.
We believe that all people were created in the image of God;
that they sinned, and that sin resulted in not only physical death,
but spiritual death as well.
About God's Response
We believe that Jesus died as the full and complete sacrifice
for our sins; that He rose from the grave on the third day;
and that all who believe in Him are made right with God by His sacrifice.
